Story
For some people life is simple, but for Ricky Jones it’s been everything but. At the age of three, he witnessed his mother and infant sister die in an automobile accident. Raised by his grandfather, because his father turned his back on him, Ricky’s state of mind was seriously in question.
Ricky’s outrageous and negative behavior landed him in Job Corps at the age of 14. He was scheduled graduate and receive his GED at 18, but due to a terrible incident at the age of 17, Ricky was charged with manslaughter. He spent an additional eight years in prison.
Ricky is now 24 years old and returning home to Charleston with a positive outlook on life. He starts to reconnect and establish a relationship with his ailing grandfather. He finds a job at a neighborhood detail shop. Ricky also finds an unexpected love and looks for guidance from his grandfather to teach him how properly pursue a relationship with the young lady. The bond that Ricky and his grandfather has is unbreakable. Ricky also understands who has kept him, and he wants to give his life to God; but he also understands that Satan is playing mind games with him as well.
